This Santa was carved from a 2" x 2" x 5" block of basswood.  It is signed and numbered #681.

His coat features a metallic bronze with metallic blue gloves.  The metallic paints are muted by the antiquing, which allows Santa to glisten, yet still appear old world.  Although the picture doesn't show all of the detail, his beard was lightly grooved to create added interest.

If you or someone you know loves Santa - this carving is a no-brainer.  It's the perfect gift!
