A basswood plaque base is carved with a red, green and gold star and antiqued with golden oak stain.  The oak rod is fastened permanently to the base, keeping the markers set in a criss-cross direction.  The copper East, South, West and gold North are removable for packing at the end of the season, if you can bear to put the piece away.  Santa, also removable, sits proudly on top, looking off in the true direction of his home.

The Santa was carved from a 2.25" x 2" block of solid basswood and stands approximately 9" tall.  When sitting atop the 8.5" x 10.5" base, the entire piece is roughly 16.25" tall

Please note all Santa carvings are one of a kind.  Although PayPal's shopping cart allows you to increase the quantity of an item - due to the one-of-a-kind nature of these carvings, if that option is used your order will be rejected.  We attempt to keep these pages updated - if two orders are placed for the same carving, the first order in our mail box will be accepted.  The second customer would have the option of modifying their order, getting a custom carving or a complete refund.  Thanks for understanding!
