Santa's barn red coat has traditional white trim that parts to reveal a Christmas green and metallic antique gold barbershop striped robe beneath.   The "day after look eyes" make you think Santa had a rough Christmas Eve - there must have been a lot of good kids this year!  Although he has the look that he's been around forever, he was carved in 2007.

Santa's beard adds to the warmth due to a wonderful finish created by the antiquing. 

Hand carved using chisels, Santa #583 emerged from a 2.5" x 2" x 6" block of basswood.

His personality will make him a favorite of any collection.
