Hand Carved Santa Bust #683

This Santa bust offers a slight cock of the head.  His dark red wine hat, mustache and long off-white beard have a wonderful aged feel from Tom's antiquing technique.  His detailed beard makes you want to run your fingers along this excellent example of folk art wood carving. 

This basswood Santa bust carving is signed and numbered #683.  He was carved from a 2" x 2" block of Pennsylvania Basswood and stands just under 7.5" tall.
