Wood Goblets, Wooden Chalices and Cups

Our wooden goblets, wood chalices, wooden tankards and wood cups are hand turned on the lathe. We use solid domestic hardwoods to ensure there are no glue joints that may leak.  Our lumber is properly kiln dried so you don't have to worry about your goblet splitting with age.  Each goblet, chalice, tankard and cup is a one of a kind. No duplicators are used. They are truly handcrafted originals.

Crafty Owl wooden goblets receive a four step finish.
The first two seal the wood to make certain no moisture can penetrate the wood. The second two finishes provide a food safe, alcohol impervious surface that will protect your wood and your drink.  The wood will not affect the taste of your beverage and the beverage will not affect the wood of your goblet!

How much wine do our wooden goblets hold?

Because they are hand turned and hollowed, each goblet will hold a different amount of your favorite beverage.  Some designs hold less than others due to the shape of the bowl and length of the goblet's stem.  Each of our in-stock goblets have an approximate measurement included with the description.  Custom goblets usually come in between 4 - 6 oz. - which is about the amount you would drink from a standard wine glass.
