Upcoming Art & Craft Shows
So many crafters offer buy/sell commercial
items, that true craftsmanship is hard to find.
We are not interested in competing with the guy who has spoons massed produced
in China
or sells yard ornaments painted in Taiwan, but are "handcrafted" because they
added accents.
Our time is too valuable and those shows do not attract our caliber of
clientele.
If you are a winery and would like to discuss a
barrel carving demonstration, please check here!
October 11 & 12, 2008 - ColorFest - Thurmont, Maryland
Crafty Owl refused to
participate in the 2008 Colorfest event.
We would rather walk away and loose money - than lower our standards for a
successful show.
As a result, we no longer endorse the official Colorfest organization.
Artists and Crafters who want to be a part of the show may wish to contact
one of the many "non-official"
organizations, such as the American Legion, that offers booth space.
Crafty Owl has officially stopped doing public shows. Tom's work is now available ONLY through this site.
Tom is available for barrel and sign carving demonstrations. If you commission a barrel head, carving can begin at your event or at one of the wine festivals we attend. People enjoy seeing the progression and will return to your winery to see the finished results. If you are interested in having such a demonstration or being on our wine show carving schedule please e-mail Tom to check availability and price.

can not show every item on this website. If you saw us at a show and would like
