Canarywood Shot Goblet hand turned by Maryland artist Tom Crowl.

Canarywood Shot Goblet #127

Canarywood Shot Goblet

Featuring a gorgeous warm yellow glow with steaks of light brown, red and even purplish grain, a small knot and distressed grain on the base - this is one shot goblet that any collector will appreciate!

We seldom get Canarywood in a thickness suitable for a goblet.  Tom came across a wonderfully figured block and was thrilled to turn the wood.  As this full sized goblet progressed, a stress fracture was found.  Tom continued to turn until the defect was gone - and found he had barely enough wood left to create this elegant little goblet.

Just over 5.5" in height, the goblet actually holds a bit more than a shot.
